Ahmed Sheikh Takoy is a seasoned executive with over two decades of leadership experience in corporate governance, financial management, and institutional development. As the Chief Executive Officer of Kush Bank, he is dedicated to driving innovation, efficiency, and customer-centric financial solutions across South Sudan through both digital and branch-based channels.
With a strong background in governance and strategic management, Mr. Takoy has played a pivotal role in establishing and managing financial institutions in emerging markets. Prior to leading Kush Bank, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the South Sudan Bankers Association and held governance roles in institutions such as the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI). His expertise extends beyond banking, with consultancy assignments for key government institutions, including the Ministry of Water and Irrigation in South Sudan and the Central Bank of Somalia.
Mr. Takoy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from the United States International University (USIU). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Development at the Swiss International School of Business and Management.
