Ahmed Sheikh Takoy
Chief Executive Officer (Sec to the Board)
Ahmed is the Chief Executive Officer of Kush Bank and Secretary to the Board of Kush Bank Plc. He is a seasoned strategic & project management consultant with over 25 years’ experience at board & senior management levels having worked in international organizations (Non-Governmental Organizations) and the banking sector across Africa, Asia & Europe.
He is well versed and experienced in the provision of institutional and strategic consultancy to multinational donors such as European Commission and USAID funded programs including the establishment of Auditor General in Somalia Multinational donors.
He has also served as Chair of the Finance & Administration Committee of Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI); Group Chairman of Northlink Group of Companies in East Africa; Finance and Administration Manager at Kenya and Somalia – Horn Relief, Intermont Oxfam South Sudan Mission, Regional Finance and Administration Manager – Oxfam Novib, Somalia and South Sudan Program.
Ahmed is a holder of an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya as well as a BSc in International Administration from USIU-Africa, Nairobi, Kenya. He has published a number of studies on Finance and Management of Institutions in Fragile Economies.
Head of Support Services
Acinkoc has over 9 years of banking experience covering branch management, operations and business development.
He started his banking career with Qatar National Bank in 2001 as the South Sudan Branch Manager. His areas of expertise include exceptional supervisory and analytical skills and effective communications.
Acinkoc holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Administration from Omdurman Ahlia University in Sudan and International Relations from Boise State University, USA.
Obadiah Ndolo Maluvu
Head of Operations
Obadiah has a work experience spanning more than 25 years.
He has previously served as an operations excellence and training consultant with KCB-Rwanda, operations manager, Nairobi region – KCB Bank Group and several other leadership positions in the same bank. Before joining KCB, he worked as a quality inspection assistant with Afro Plastics Kenya Limited.
Obadiah is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Mount Kenya University. He also possesses a certificate in Cash Management and Custodianship from Kenya Institute of Bankers and Steller Service Training from Achieve Global.
Collins possesses over 15 years of financial management, audit and taxation experience in a wide range of business enterprises including banking, manufacturing and hospitality industries.
He is a resourceful team player with professional auditing, accounting and financial management skills, gained over years of progressive work assignments in audit and assurance, financial analytics, reporting, control and financial management.
Collins holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Banking from Karnatak University in India.
Marketing & Communications Manager
Rose leads the Marketing & Communications unit of Kush Bank Plc. She has over nine years’ experience in marketing and business development. In this role, she oversees the development and successful implementation of the bank’s marketing & communications strategies.
In her previous roles, she worked in the hospitality industry with leading five-star hotels in Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan.
Rose holds a Second Class (Upper Division) Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management (Marketing Option) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, Nairobi, Kenya.
