Since 2012.

Kush Bank has grown in both operational capacity and service offerings, becoming recognized as a trusted operator in the financial services sector in South Sudan.

Over the past ten years, we have evolved from an agricultural development bank into a world-class financial institution offering fully-fledged financial solutions that include:

  • Funds management

Currently, we operate across 6 out of 10 states in South Sudan and the bank’s aspiration is to be the leading National Bank in the country, with a global reach. Today, we are among the largest national banks in South Sudan in terms of delivery channels, customer base, trade volumes and assets.

From our strong capital base and under the leadership of an experienced board and management team, the customer population has grown to more than ten thousand. These include international organizations, local corporates, small and micro enterprises (SMEs), local businesses as well as individual clients.

Our stability, innovativeness, and flexibility, while operating in an ever-changing environment and increasing global compliance regulations, have helped us garner the confidence of our clients by offering efficient solutions which meet their specific requirements.

We endeavor to set the national standards in managing all forms of risk, thereby safeguarding our customers’ investments while building our position in the marketplace as a sound financial institution and trusted partner.

Our head office is in Juba, and other branches are in Bor, Yambio, Wau, Agok in Abyei Administration area, and Mingkaman. The bank has also positioned agents throughout South Sudan to meet the transactional needs of our clients. To add to this, Kush Bank has a license to offer Tahwi Mobile Money transfer services across the East African Countries (Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania) through Safaricom and MTN Telecom operators.
